Pruning & Trimming



In the SC Lowcountry , pruning may be done almost any time of year, but late fall and winter tends to be the best. That's when it's easiest to identify cracks, deadwood, and other defects affecting the trees. Proper pruning is an art, but based on tried and true principles. Our adherence to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI A300) generally assures safe and proper pruning techniques that are most beneficial to the tree and surrounding flora.

Tree Removal



Trees generally add value to a property, but that assumes they're healthy, not a nuisance, and are properly punned. Otherwise, it might be time for it to go. We are experts in the safe removal of trees - even the ones encroaching on your house, fencing, or out buildings. And we always double check for updates to local codes and guidelines before cutting. If utilities might be affected, we will contact the appropriate companies to coordinate as required.

Storm Prep & Cleanup



Like it or not, the Lowcountry experiences it's fair share of severe weather. So, being prepared is just the smart thing to do. Properly pruned and trimmed trees are far less susceptible to high-wind damage. Likewise, the removal of unhealthy trees can help avoid costly damage done by those same trees when they succumb to storms. Let us help before the storm.

Site Prep & Land Clearing



We provide full service land clearing and preparation. No job is too big or too small. Whether you're just cleaning up a lot or preparing a tract for development, we have the equipment and expertise to get the results you expect. And that can include grading, drainage, even seawalls. Just let us know what you need and we'll look forward to working with you to transform your property.



Stump Grinding



Not all stumps are created equal. In most cases, when a tree is cut down, the remaining stump is also removed. This usually leaves a clean, level, and reusable area. We grind stumps to approximately 8" to assure no return growth. And if you have older stumps that are just in the way or an eyesore, we can remove those too. We'll always check for underground utilities and will make recommendations if removal of the stump is deemed to potentially create other problems.



Palm Tree Trimming



Palm trees abound throughout the Lowcountry and are a hearty, resilient tree. But they need proper care and routine trimming to flourish and reach their full potential. Their are numerous species of palms ... many of which appear very similar. And pruning palms is a little different than most other trees. We're well-versed in how and when to prune palm trees to allow them to fully develop.

Yes, you read that correctly. A by-product of much of what we do is fresh, quality mulch. Our challenge is what to do with it. Rather than paying to dispose of it ... or store it, we will provide it for free, including free delivery within a reasonable distance.
